Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the DayCairn mobile application ("DayCairn", the "app", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

1. Who can use DayCairn

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country) to use DayCairn. By using the app you confirm that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate.

2. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity that happens under your account. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised use.

3. Your content

You keep ownership of the content you add to DayCairn (text, photos, voice notes, cairn titles and descriptions). You grant us a limited licence to host, store and display this content solely to operate the app for you and, where you choose to make a cairn public or share it, to the people you share it with.

You are responsible for the content you publish. You must have the rights to any content you upload, and it must not be illegal, infringing, hateful, harassing, or otherwise harmful.

4. Acceptable use

  • • Don't break the law or others' rights.
  • • Don't harass, abuse, impersonate or harm others.
  • • Don't upload malware or try to disrupt the service.
  • • Don't scrape, reverse-engineer or misuse the app or its data.

    Our Privacy Policy explains what data we process and why. By using DayCairn you also agree to that policy.

    6. Availability & changes

    DayCairn is offered "as is" and is still under active development. Features may change, and the service may be unavailable from time to time. We may update or discontinue parts of the app.

    7. Disclaimer & liability

    To the extent permitted by law, DayCairn is provided without warranties of any kind, and we are not liable for indirect or incidental damages arising from your use of the app. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

    8. Termination

    You can stop using DayCairn and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

    9. Changes to these Terms

    We may update these Terms. If we make material changes, we will let you know in the app. Continuing to use DayCairn after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
