DAYCAIRN
One stone a day.
Document the progress of a personal project, one day at a time. Each project is a cairn; each day you show up is a stone. No matter how small the effort, consistency builds the pile.
A cairn for every project. A stone for every day.
A cairn is a pile of stones you raise over time. In DayCairn, every personal project is a cairn, and every documented day is a stone placed on it. What you attach to each day — a line of text, a photo, a voice note — is the honest, transparent record of the journey. You show the good days as well as the hard ones.
Show up, place a stone
The minimum is one element: a word, a photo, or a voice note. That's it. Showing up is the win.
The day is sealed at midnight
You can edit a day all you like until midnight. Then it's set in stone — which is what makes the record honest.
One entry per day
No firehose of micro-posts. A single, evolving entry per day per cairn — the day, updated.
Your year, at a glance
See your stones across 30 days, a year, or the whole journey, and revisit any day along the timeline.
Pride, not fear. Presence, not performance.
DayCairn is deliberately calm and adult — the opposite of a cute, gamified streak app. There's no fragile streak that "dies", no guilt mechanics. Just a quiet, honest place to keep showing up.
Presence > performance
Showing up is the victory, whatever the size of the effort that day.
Compassion, not sanction
No anxiety-inducing mechanics. Rest days count. Nothing punishes you.
Transparency at the core
The honest record — highs and lows — is the whole point.
A small gesture, every day.
Open your cairn, jot a line — or tap a shortcut like “Rest” or “No time today” — add a photo or a voice note if you want, and save. The stone is placed the moment you first save; come back later to enrich the day without changing the square. Two views live inside each cairn: Today, where the week's squares fill in, and Journey, where your whole progress and timeline unfold.
A line to carry the day.
Every day shows a single quote — the same one for everyone, on a calm, monochrome card you can share to your story. Sober and steady, never hustle.
“The stone is laid not by the strong day, but by the next one.”

DayCairn is coming soon to iOS and Android.
Follow journeys, not noise.
You can follow a specific cairn — observational, like following someone's training, without the chatter. No likes, no comments, no chat. The only interaction is a single, positive encouragement. Cairns are public or private, your choice; the heart of DayCairn is solo, and the feed is secondary.
